Canwick's substantial Village Hall is owned for the community by a charitable trust, with community members serving as Trustees.

The Hall is run by the Social Club. Membership is open to all residents at only £5 for the whole year year - for details contact the Interim Chairman, Andrew Vaughan, on Lincoln 528266. There is a range of regular events such as dancing classes - a full list can be found on the Hall notice board.

The Social Club runs a licensed bar in the Club Room which is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 8:30 pm to 11 pm, and on Sunday lunchtime from 12 - 2 pm. The Village Hall is a no smoking area.

The Hall is fully DDA compliant - in other words it meets all the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. It is is available for hire for anyone who wants to put on an event and inquiries are very welcome. The Lettings Secretary is Di Vaughan on  Lincoln 528266.
