ABOUT CANWICK

Canwick is a small but historic village just two miles south of the city of Lincoln. It has been continuously occupied at least since Saxon times (the name comes from "Canna's Farm" in Anglo-Saxon), but there was a significant villa here in the Roman period.

Nearby Lincoln has given its name to hundreds of towns and cities across the globe. But as far as we can tell Canwick is unique: this is the only one anywhere in the entire world. So it's worth looking after!
